Philosophy & Method of Teaching
The visual arts teach life skills. It is the teacher’s intent to help guide individuals using drawing and painting to improve their visual communication skills. Drawing and painting are the oldest vehicles of communication in humanity. Through exercises and projects in representation of life and imagination, the student will gain confidence and competency.

Private Art Lessons
Private art lessons are a great way to advance a student’s skill and enthusiasm for the visual arts.
The student works alongside the artist in an art studio setting to create a painting or drawing whose content has been chosen by the budding artist, parent, or teacher.
Expectations
75-minute in studio lesson
Teacher provides art supply needs in studio with a recommended home material list
Payment for entire month of lessons due at beginning of each month
How Do I Get Started?
Schedule a phone call to communicate student details and availability
Schedule a studio/home visit to determine student-teacher fit and curriculum needs
Pay $150 for one-time personalized curriculum fee and schedule a minimum of four lessons
