Does your child love art? Does he/she want to become a better artist? This is the summer camp for them! Join Lindsey LaPlant, licensed art teacher as she works with your child in a small group setting to develop discipline and identity in the visual arts. Kids will experience firsthand what it takes to study like a master artist in portraiture, landscape, and abstraction in various mediums.

Each week there will be a focus on a different period of art like Renaissance da Vinci, Impressionism Cassatt, Surreal Dali, and Modern Mondrian. Artists-in-training will develop the discipline to keep a sketchbook and build an art portfolio while studying directly from the art masters in history. Budding artists will explore various mediums like charcoal, paint, plaster, wire, and clay.
